New Performance based Business Models and Methodology

Objectives of the work package:

• Business model options for SME-driven retrofitting business models on a system level are analysed in detail based on the commonly business model canvas system considering specific requirements from the construction industry.

The development includes the involvement of all relevant stakeholders (e.g. housing associations, local authorities, home owners, clients, users, energy suppliers) for the development of infrastructure, offers and financial models for different customers overcoming the current barriers identified in WP1 on the basis of concrete examples.

• Methodology for building owners and users towards the “right” retrofitting technologies appropriate to their current building type, the linkage between them and the SMEs capable of carrying out the selected retrofitting project and the guidance for SMEs to select the appropriate and performance based business model to carry out the retrofitting project
